Crawling?!

That's right, Elliot's crawling . . . kind of. He's getting there, anyway. My hyper-active 5-month-old is now getting on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. Sometimes he gets on his toes even. He hasn't quite figured out the whole moving your arms and legs together part yet. Let's hope it stays that way for a few months. Somehow, I doubt that'll be the case since he rolled over the day after he turned 3 months old. This video is kind of long, so if you're impatient, here's the highlights in picture format:

And here's the update on the rest of our trip. Emily left this past Tuesday morning to return home to her hubby, Craig. Bryan arrived from BYU later that same day. Here are pictures from our favorite free swimming place, Mt. Pisgah State Park:

Dottie loves painting. Here are pictures of her painting at the kitchen table. Carrie did her hair super cute this day (Sailor Moon style).

The other day, we went to our friend, Brianna Buynak's, graduation party. While we were there, Dottie made a "boyfriend." Brianna's nephew, Aiden, immediately became attached to Dottie. They held hands for like a half hour. Dottie was all for it at first, but as you see can see in this picture, she became a little tired of being dragged around. It was still cute.
On Monday, before Emily left, we went to Lancaster, PA (Amish country). Here we are at the Sturgis Pretzel Factory, the oldest hard pretzel factory in the U.S. Let me point out Dottie at the bottom of the pretzel. She wasn't getting where to look in this picture. It was a hot and sticky day, so Elliot had a hard time. He and I spent a lot of "quality time" together in the air-conditioned car while everyone else traveled around the beautiful countryside.

And that's it for now! Sorry I'm not being more descriptive or putting things in chronological order. The computer here is making me impatient and crazy.

The June 27 pictures are darling. It looks like you're all having such a great time! It was fun to see Elliot starting to crawl. Keep the pictures coming!

Elliot and Dottie are such cuties. I like the one of Elliot sticking his tongue out. His tongue looks just like Michelle's baby Naomi. "Quite pointy in parts." I love your pics at the water park. Adam and I are hoping to go to a water park soon, maybe Knott's Soak City in Anaheim or San Diego... who knows? Hope you and your family are doing well!

I don't know if it's the pencil-like object in her hand or her tight hairdo, but dottie is beginning to look much older and mature!
