I don't know if you've seen this movie. It's pretty deep. Dottie got it for her birthday, along with a few other Barbie movies. $5 at Target, gotta love it. Anyway, Dottie has been browsing the Barbie website, thanks to a suggestion from her friends, Emma and Madeleine. She found sleepover invitations for the movie, and really wanted to have a sleepover party last week while Joe was still gone. I informed her that she's too young to have a sleepover, so she cut out the word "sleepover" and put in "day" so it read "Barbie and the Diamond Castle Day." She had two different parties because of scheduling conflicts with friends. I bought lots of junk food, and we semi-watched the movie. The second viewing we actually got through most of it. And this is when they lost interest and decided to play with Barbies instead. At least they stayed with the Barbie theme.
Elliot and his "sleepover" pal, a boy who also doesn't mind a Barbie movie every now and then.
