We found The Fall!

Well, things are starting to get crazy as we prepare to move in a month. I was happy that I found the time to get in some pictures!

My children found a giant thing of construction paper in our craft drawers.  They made short work of it, as you can see. It was good for Ruby, who often feels a need to "cut."

This is my wig for the talent show. Sorry for the blur.  Elliot loves to wear wigs. Especially girly ones.

Do you love the holes in my socks? I never wear socks here because it's always summer weather, but it actually got chilly enough to turn on the heat this week! Ellioto and I are reading a book on Chopin.

Speaking of reading to children, I've been meaning to post on this book for a long time.It seems a little hokey, right? But it's not. I love so many of the books I've found from our history curriculum, but this book in particular was not only fantastic historically, but the story is so touching it actually made me cry.  And it's true! So get it or check it out for Thanksgiving.  I loved it.

Ruby passed out while watching TV.  She's been fighting naps this week.

We went to a state park called Lost Maples, because I was needing to see some fall foliage after 4 years of nothing but green. In the parking lot, we came across the largest caterpillar we've ever seen.  I googled it, and think it's a giant silk moth.

Changing leaves! Hurray!

On the way home, we stopped at the only place in Texas where apples grow, Medina, and bought apple ice cream. I was impressed with Ruby staying relatively clean. I promise I'll have a video of the talent show next time. That's tonight.

I, too, enjoyed the story of Ruby asleep in front of the tv. I want apple ice cream! I also have a great desire to read the pilgrim book.

This is another picture where I was like check out her good looks! I am going to put this gorgeous good looking girl on display life size in my bedroom in my large digital picture displays. It will be so much fun to have her around the house where I can walk up to her whenever I want to check out a good looking girl and spend time kissing her!
