Happy almost Easter! Dottie has learned the trick of getting what she wants for holidays: discuss with the mystical creature associated with the holiday, and you'll get what you want. After she saw Santa 3 times at Christmas, I learned my lesson with the Easter Bunny. Only one visit. We saw another Easter Bunny after this visit, but I quickly steered Dottie the other direction. She was yelling that she wanted Dora slippers as we walked by.
Towanda ward playgroup. The dear Primary president had the cutest idea: decorate cupcakes like the Easter Bunny.
And finally, Dottie has returned to K-4. The nice Towanda School District allowed her to sneak back for the few weeks we're here. Yesterday was her Easter party. I made cake pops after being inspired by a friend's version of the Cookie Monster. They were less than perfect. So if you're a cake pop expert, just look the other way. I'm trying to be domestic here. But if you're good at dipping things in chocolate (which I've discovered I'm not), try them out. They'll make your day. And your kids' too. Unless you decide to eat them all yourself. That's okay too.
