This is just a short post from Joe to present our newest daughter to the world, Ruby Alice!
Charlotte had a labor that commenced with strong contractions at 1am, culminating with our admittance to the hosipital at about 7:30pm and our daughter being pushed out at 7:49pm! Long day with no medications. We got turned away from the hospital 2x despite her already being at 4 cm with strong contractions. Long story, I'll leave that one for her. When we finally got her to her hospital bed there was no time for epidural, no time! Bless the heart of my wife for her courage and strength yesterday.
Ruby is very healthy and so far very somber!
