So, Ruby's been really hungry lately. I feel like I've been nursing her every hour. She still sleeps most of the night, but has been waking up at 4 am to nurse the past few nights. And whenever she sees me, she opens her mouth wide and tries to nurse my face, my arm, whatever is in reach.
Also, she has been VERY interested in food. Whenever she sees food or us eating, she makes a nursy face like she's trying to eat the food.
So even though I hate the baby food stage and generally try to put it off as long as possible, I don't want my child to starve. She's clearly telling me she's hungry.

What a fun sequence of photos! Ruby will eat her cereal when she's good and ready. You're right not to worry about it!.
Oh, I love that little doll baby! Wish I could hold her right now! Take your time with real food.
Cara bambinetta dolce angelo!
(Dear sweet angel baby girl !)
Loved the photos! What a cutie! Rice cereal is yucky! Bring on the pizza! Chicken nuggets and French fries! :-> Maybe in a year or so!
Ha! Smart girl, Ruby, rice cereal is icky. Sweet potatoes might be a little better... or just wait for one of your siblings to slip you a cookie.
Your baby's hair is awesome Char.
Charky,
All your posts make me giggle.
Yours truly,
Morgan
That pretty much sums up Jordan's first encounter with cereal too. Ruby is so darling!
