Just So You Know. . .
Just so you know, I am still alive. My baby had RSV for several weeks and is now just recovering after a hospital stay of four days and three weeks of being on oxygen. So it's been a little hectic and worrisome at the Hansen house. Right now, our internet is broken on our computer, so I'm actually posting at my sister's. That's why there are no pictures. So this is just an update, in case you were wondering. Elliot is now doing much better and is full of smiles. I still worry, though. We've been washing our hands like maniacs. Dottie gets mad at me every time. And to think she used to like to wash her hands. I promise I'll have pictures soon of my baby. I just thought it would be a little depressing to post pics of him with tubes up his nose. It's not exactly a time I want to remember.

Bless your heart! Having a baby in the hospital and a toddler at home is such a stressful time.
I am so glad that he is doing better!
One thing that we did when the twins first came home is that we had hand sanitizer everywhere. I know it isn't the same as washing your hand, but it does help when your hands are so raw.
Just as a side note, even though the NICU was a sad and stressful time for me, I wish I had more pictures of them when they were that small, even with all the tubes. It is part of who they are.
Anyways, I would love to see some pictures of your kids.
So sad! Glad to hear he is doing better. Poor little guy. :-(
