Here we are, back in our Texan abode. But we won't be here for long! On Tuesday, we leave for the wedding season. Wish us luck on the three day California journey.
The kids were thrilled to be with their daddy once more, to sleep in their own beds, and to play with their toys once more. I'm happy to be in a house that has air-conditioning. I don't know how the Alamo residents survived the Texas heat back in the day.

You forgot to mention the FREE air conditioning. I still don't know how people survive their electric bills if they don't live on base.
